Get involved in Deafinitely Football!
We are pleased to introduce Deafinitely Football, a weekly football training programme for young deaf people aged 16-25 for the next 8 weeks.
Zebra Access has successfully secured funding from Sportivate to run a pilot to give deaf people a chance to get involved in various footballing activities, drills and exercises.
Sportivate is a £56 million Lottery funded London 2012 legacy project which aims to provide young people an opportunity to discover a sport they love.
The training will be delivered in BSL by Deaf coaches. You will have an opportunity to learn about rules of the game, healthy eating, team work and many more.
The sessions will take place from now to end of November, every Thursday 7-9pm at Coseley Leisure Centre, Henne Drive, Coseley, Bilston WV14 9JW.
If you find that football is not for you, you will be given information to other Deaf sports/ clubs/ schemes such as table tennis, fishing, badminton etc for you to try out!
It is free to join from now to end of November. There is no need to book your place and you can turn up on the day.
If you are interested to get involved or have any questions, please contact Chris Beech, Project Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or text 07761 096732.
