BSL Zone's news

BSL Zone has announced that there are two ways in which the Deaf community can apply to make films for them

1. The Zoom short film-making scheme

The Zoom and Zoom Focus short film schemes are back! Check out the promo http://vimeo.com/88052998

Zoom is the UK's first short film scheme solely for deaf filmmakers. Set up by the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT) and Neath Films, the scheme gives people the opportunity to work with a professional production company to make their short films.

Zoom is aimed at deaf scriptwriters and directors with some experience, but have never made anything that was shown on television.

This year, there is another opportunity called 'Zoom Shadows' which helps six people who don't get through to get more experience of the process!

Closing date for the schedule is 5pm on Friday 28th March 2014.
