Employment Training - 2014
The training course will be given by a Deaf Tutor using British Sign Language (BSL).
Course is free to Deaf participants.
We provide training for Deaf people to help them learn, achieve and secure sustainable employment. We particularly focus on helping participants with the following:
- Developing your C.V
- Learning about Access to Work and how they can support you
- Understanding the Equality Act and how it applies to you
- Writing excellent job application forms
- Improving your interview skills
Our course enables all participants to gain either work or the confidence to train for further qualifications.
The course will start on Thursday 1stMay 2014 and will be held every Thursday for 12 weeks.
The course will be from 10AM until 1PM (Week 5 and Week 11 will be from 10AM until 4PM).
(Applicants with 80% attendance or more will gain a certificate).
The course will be held at Wolverhampton Science Park, Glaisher Drive, Wolverhampton WV10 9TG.
