Deaf Employability Project
With thanks to the funding from the Comic Relief Local Communities Fund administered by Heart of England Community Foundation, we're delighted to introduce a 'Drop In' job club for deaf people.
If you are looking for work, want to change jobs, set up your own business, looking for volunteering opportunities/ work experience or looking for training/ apprenticeship/ courses, then come along to the club!
We will have a Deaf job advisor and an interpreter to support you. Whether you want help to create a CV, write a covering letter, fill in application forms, make phone calls, prepare for a job interview etc - we will support you.
There will be access to wifi and technology to support your needs. You're welcome to bring your own electronic devices. All ages welcome.
Any deaf person living in Black Country and surrounding areas are welcome. Other than this, there are no restrictions as to who can or cannot attend.
Date: The 'Drop In' job club will run from 11th January until 22nd August 2016. The club will take place every Monday (except Bank Holiday Mondays) so the first one will be on Monday 11th January 2016.
Location: Light House, The Chubb Buildings, Fryer St, Wolverhampton, West Midlands WV1 1HT
Time: Drop in any time between 1pm till 4pm
